This policy applies to consumers purchasing goods from the QUIET EDIT through our website in Ireland and the EU. It does not affect your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.

1. Faulty or Non-Conforming Goods

Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

If goods are faulty or do not conform to the contract, you are entitled to remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, including:

• A full refund within 30 days of delivery, or
• A repair or replacement, or
• Other remedies provided by law where applicable.

2. Right to Cancel Online Orders (Distance Contracts)

If you purchase goods online, you have a statutory right to cancel without giving a reason.

• You may cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods.
• After notifying us of cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.
• Return costs are payable by the consumer, unless the goods are faulty or incorrect.

3. Condition of Returned Goods

You must take reasonable care of goods while in your possession.
You may be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

4. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel

The right to cancel does not apply to goods that are:
— Made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
— Sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, once unsealed.
