Hand-carved and traditionally used for mixing and kneading dough, these Indian parat bowls carry the markings of years of everyday use.
Their shallow, rounded forms vary from one piece to the next, with softened edges, irregular grain and darker areas giving each bowl an individual surface and character. Set low on a dining table, coffee table or console, style alone or use as a base for fruit, collected objects or a small arrangement of seasonal pieces.
No two are alike, and the bowls vary in colour and size.
Please note: This is an original vintage piece. Variations in shape, grain, tone, surface markings, small cracks and signs of previous use are inherent to its character. Each bowl is one of a kind. For decorative use only. Not tested or certified for direct contact with food. Wipe gently with a dry or lightly damp cloth and avoid prolonged exposure to water or heat.
