A set of four beautifully detailed vintage woven silk pictures by Cash’s of Coventry, each depicting a different bird amongst foliage.

These are such delicate, intricate little pieces. Woven directly into the silk on Jacquard looms, using different coloured threads, the detail is extraordinary — particularly when you see them up close. The silk catches the light beautifully, giving the colours an almost luminous quality. The blue of the kingfisher is particularly special.

Each is newly framed in a simple pale timber frame with a generous white mount, giving them a cleaner, more contemporary feel while letting the original woven work stand out.
