A small vintage copper table lamp with lovely proportions and a filigree shade that gives off a warm, patterned light when switched on. The mix of copper and slim black legs gives it a slightly playful feel without making it too decorative. It’s compact enough to sit on a shelf, sideboard or small table, but still has enough character to hold its own.

Thought to date from the 1950s or early 1960s, it’s one of those pieces I’d happily use just for the shape of it, even when it’s not lit.  The lamp has been carefully refurbished, with the legs restored, a new coordinating cord added and black Bakelite components chosen to sit sympathetically with the original design.
